SafeTbuild is a milestone-based payment coordination platform, not a licensed escrow provider, money transmitter, or financial institution. SafeTbuild does not hold funds in trust. All payment processing is performed by Stripe, Inc., a licensed payment processor. Funds flow through Stripe's payment infrastructure and are transferred to vendor Stripe Connect accounts upon customer approval. Depending on your jurisdiction, actual escrow services may require a licensed escrow company or attorney. Please consult legal counsel if you require legally compliant escrow services.
SafeTbuild ("Platform," "we," "us," or "our") provides technology services that facilitate milestone-based payment coordination between customers ("Buyers") and vendors ("Sellers"). By using SafeTbuild, you agree to these Terms of Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use SafeTbuild. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. in accordance with Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. SafeTbuild charges a platform fee (typically 3% of each milestone transaction) for coordinating the payment process. Platform fees are non-refundable except in cases of platform error. Refunds of milestone payments are subject to Stripe's refund policies and are only initiated upon admin resolution of a dispute or mutual agreement between parties.
Customers fund milestones voluntarily. Vendor payouts are initiated only after explicit customer approval of submitted work. SafeTbuild does not independently verify the quality of work submitted. In dispute cases, SafeTbuild's admin team reviews available evidence and makes a final resolution decision. Both parties agree that SafeTbuild's dispute resolution decision is final for platform purposes.
You may not use SafeTbuild for illegal activities, money laundering, fraud, or any transactions that violate applicable law. SafeTbuild reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
SafeTbuild is not liable for disputes between customers and vendors regarding work quality, project outcomes, or payment disagreements beyond what is expressly covered by our dispute resolution process. Our liability is limited to the platform fees collected in the relevant transaction. SafeTbuild does not guarantee any specific outcome for dispute resolutions.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of SafeTbuild following notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
